Reservation & Rental Conditions

User Information
The rented vehicle may be driven only by the person(s) specified in the contract and the delivery form. In the event that third parties not stated in the contract drive the vehicle, no damage coverage will apply to any damages that may occur. To increase the number of authorized drivers, you can purchase the “Additional Driver” service from our branches. If anyone other than the renter will drive the vehicle, the Additional Driver service must be purchased. Rentals can be made provided that the age and driver’s license year conditions specified for the vehicle groups are met. You can obtain the Additional Driver and Young Driver service fees from our reservation center and branches.


Age and Driver’s License Requirements
The minimum age and driver’s license year requirements by vehicle group are shown in the table below. Both the renter and any additional driver(s) must meet these conditions. The Turkish ID number must be present on the driver’s license. Rentals cannot be made with new combined ID+license cards. You must have your original driver’s license with you.
Economic Group : At least 1 year of valid license and 21 years of age.
Mid Group  : At least 2 years of valid license and 23 years of age.
SUV Group : At least 2 years of valid license and 25 years of age.
Minivan, Premium and Luxury Group : At least 3 years of valid license and 27 years of age.
Credit Score
Possession of a valid Findeks Analysis score. 
Rental Period
Our vehicles can be rented for a minimum of 24 hours on a daily basis, and on a monthly basis for 30 days.
In case of possible delays:
For delays over 1 hour: 1/3 of the rental fee valid on that date will be charged.
For delays of 2 hours or more: 2/3 of your current rental fee will be charged.
For delays of 3 hours or more: one daily rental fee valid for that day will be added to your contract and charged to your credit card.
If your delivery or return time coincides with branch closing time, you must deliver or return the vehicle at that time. The 2-hour delay option is not valid for rentals with delivery/return time at branch closing time.
Fuel
You must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at pickup. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the cost of the missing fuel plus a service fee of 30% of the missing fuel cost will be charged.
Vehicle Return/Delivery
Return to Branch:
If you wish to return your vehicle to a different branch than the pickup branch, a “One-Way” fee will apply.
The One-Way fee also applies when returning to a different branch within the same city.

Our address delivery and pickup service varies according to the availability of our branches. For full details, please contact the branch from which you will rent.
 Damage Protection Coverages & Add-Ons
Explanations regarding our coverages are provided below. These explanations are general and for information purposes. Champ Rent a Car reserves the right to change this information over time. The coverages included in your reservation are specified in our price quote and/or reservation confirmation.
Coverages not included in your price can be purchased from our sales offices at the start of the rental. You can also obtain detailed information about the applicable limits from our sales offices.
a)  We are legally required to provide third-party liability insurance. In the event that you injure, cause death to a person, or cause material damage to their property as a result of an accident, the officially determined traffic insurance limits apply (for property damage, the limits under the Traffic Insurance coverage apply).
b)  As specified on the Vehicle Delivery and Return Form, if you have purchased CDW / THW (Collision Damage Waiver with deductible – Theft protection package), damage to or theft of the vehicle is covered by our insurance. The presence of a deductible means that you are required to make a partial payment. You are obliged to pay the current deductible amount specified on the aforementioned form or in our brochures/documents. You can obtain information on deductibles and coverages from our offices and reservation center.
c)  If you purchase the LCF protection package, the costs of tire punctures and tears, vehicle windows, front headlights, and signal lamps that occur without a traffic accident are covered.
Situations Not Covered by Damage Protection Packages:
Any accident caused while the driver is above the legal alcohol limit or under the influence of drugs
Impoundment of the vehicle by traffic authorities due to the driver
Impact to the underside of the vehicle (starter rod, oil pan) without an accident
Burns, liquid spills, or excessively dirty return of the vehicle’s seat upholstery
Use of the vehicle on mountainous terrain, sand, marsh, beach, etc., on roads not suitable for traffic, or use contrary to the endurance and characteristics of vehicles with respect to purpose, place, and roads; damages arising from rallying, speed trials, motor sports, and driving in areas closed to traffic.
Damages and malfunctions resulting from careless, negligent, or excessive use as determined and reported by authorized services are the responsibility of the renter.
Theft of your personal belongings from the car, theft of the vehicle key, dropping it into water, loss of registration, license plate and/or tools, hubcap and spare wheel losses, and loss or damage to rented add-on products
Accidents or damages involving a driver not registered in the contract
Damages resulting from natural disasters
Damages resulting from transporting animals without cages in the vehicle
Any kind of mechanical and electrical damage arising from user error and/or carelessness, negligence, etc. (including but not limited to transmission failure due to incorrect gear shifting, damages occurring because the vehicle was continued to be used despite a warning light being on, damages caused by hitting the underside of the vehicle, damages to parts such as tires and rims, damages arising from incorrect fuel, etc.)
Damages caused by terrorism, vandalism, or public disturbances
Expenses, damages, etc., arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided during the rental
Force majeure
IN SINGLE-VEHICLE AND MULTI-VEHICLE TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS, THE RENTER MUST OBTAIN AN ACCIDENT REPORT AND AN ALCOHOL REPORT. IF THE RELEVANT REPORT IS NOT ISSUED, THE RENTER IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGES.
Important Notes
In any accident, without moving the vehicle from the scene, you must draw up an accident report appropriate to the nature of the accident or immediately—within no more than 24 hours—apply to the nearest police or gendarmerie station to obtain accident, theft, and alcohol reports, and inform our 24/7 Full Support Line at +90 850 532 42 67.
In case the vehicle is stolen, you must likewise, immediately and within no more than 24 hours, apply to the nearest police or gendarmerie station and inform our 24/7 Full Support Line at +90 850 532 42 67. Otherwise, all purchased coverages will be deemed invalid, and all types of damages, including material and moral losses to third parties, will be collected from the renter. If the vehicle breaks down or support is needed for any reason, assistance must be obtained by calling +90 850 532 42 67, which serves 24/7.
Please ensure that the Vehicle Delivery and Return Form is completed and mutually signed at the start and end of the rental.
To extend the rental period, or to notify a change in return time and date, please call the office where you made the rental or our Reservation Center.
In case of an accident, vehicle malfunction, or need for support for any reason during the rental, please call our 24/7 Full Support Line at +90 850 532 42 67.
In the event of a single-vehicle accident, without moving the vehicle from its position, you must apply to the nearest police or gendarmerie station and obtain the accident, theft, and alcohol reports.
In multi-vehicle accidents, except for the cases stated below, drivers are obliged to complete the “Material Damage Accident Report” as specified on the form, according to how the accident occurred.
In multi-vehicle accidents, only in the following cases is the traffic accident report prepared by the traffic police:
What To Do At the Time of the Accident,
Cases Requiring a Report by the Traffic Police or Gendarmerie
In multi-vehicle accidents, obtain photocopies or readable images of the driver’s licenses, registrations, and traffic insurance policies of the parties involved,
If there is underage driving,
Obtain multiple photos of the scene showing how and where the accident occurred, with license plates visible,
Do not leave the vehicle without taking adequate safety precautions,
If there is suspicion regarding the driver’s mental health or alcohol use,
If the driver is operating a motor vehicle without a license,
If any of the vehicles involved has an official (government) license plate,
If damage has occurred to public property,
If only third-party property has been damaged,
If any of the vehicles involved has no Traffic Insurance,
If the traffic accident resulted in death or injury,
If you and the other driver(s) cannot reach an agreement about how the accident occurred
Traffic Fines
Payment of any traffic fines arising from failure to comply with traffic rules (including incorrect tollbooth use on bridges and highways) and the service fee will be charged to the renter’s credit card specified in the contract.
Mileage Limits by Vehicle Group
The daily km limit of the rental cannot exceed the monthly limit of the relevant vehicle group. In this case, extra kilometer packages can be purchased from the Add-on Services page. Any excess mileage at the time of return will be invoiced based on current excess km prices.
Economic Group : 3 TL
Mid Group  : 3.5 TL
SUV Group : 4.5 TL
Minivan, Premium and Luxury Group : 6 TL
Payment Terms and Security
The vehicle rental fee, together with fees for add-on products and services and the deposit amount, is collected in advance at the start of the rental from a single credit card belonging to the renter personally. At the end of the rental, depending on any difference in charges, collection or refund is made to/from the credit card. The renter must be physically present at our branch, and a credit card belonging to an additional driver or a different person is not accepted.
Deposit Fee:
In addition to the rental fee, deposit amounts determined by vehicle group and ranging between 1,000 TL and 5,000 TL are collected from the renter’s personal credit card at the start of the rental. These deposit amounts are canceled no later than 7 days if the vehicle is returned in the same condition as delivered.

To ensure a more secure shopping experience, www.champrentacar.com uses an SSL security certificate.
Reservation, Contract and Changes
“Pay Now” and “Pay Later” Reservations:
For your “Pay Now” and “Pay Later” reservations, you can change the vehicle group, reservation dates, and add or remove add-on products, except for changing the pickup branch. If you wish to change the pickup branch, the current reservation must be canceled and a new one made. Unfortunately, the prices of your previous reservation will not be valid for your new reservation.
Early Return:
After the rental has started, if the vehicle is returned before the reserved date range, no refund will be made.
Extension:
After the rental has started, if you wish to keep the vehicle beyond the reserved dates, the price will be recalculated by the system and the additional fee will be collected from the credit card presented at the start of the rental.
No-Show Policy:
If the vehicle is not picked up at the scheduled pickup time stated in the reservation, after 2 hours the status will be considered No-Show and no vehicle can be guaranteed for any group. A reservation in No-Show status will be canceled after 4 hours.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Reservations can be canceled up to 1 hour before the reservation time on the date the reservation was made, and in such a case you will not be charged any fee. 
If you wish to cancel your reservation outside the conditions above, only one day’s rental fee will be charged.
Warnings
All charges related to the rental are collected from the renter’s personal credit card. Bank cards, virtual cards, and debit cards are not accepted.
In the event of any damage, for your insurance to be valid, you must notify the emergency line and, without moving your vehicle from the accident scene, inform the Traffic Police or Traffic Gendarmerie and obtain a “Police Report together with an Alcohol Report.” In material damage accidents, if the parties agree on how the accident occurred, a “Material Damage Accident Report” may also be issued.
In case of vehicle theft, you must call the police and obtain a “Theft Detection Report.” Together with the report, the vehicle key must be delivered to us.
If you have an accident with your vehicle, if the vehicle is stolen, breaks down, a tire blows out, or you need any emergency assistance, you can call our 24/7 “Emergency Assistance” line at 0850 532 42 67, which serves all over Turkey.
International Travel: None of our insurances are valid outside the borders of Turkey, and our vehicles are not permitted to leave Turkey. Please check your delivery form and contract.
Your car rental reservation is confirmed for a vehicle group; no guarantee is given for any specific brand and/or model.
The renter accepts and undertakes to pay all kinds of mechanical and electrical damages and losses arising from user error and/or carelessness, negligence, etc. (including but not limited to transmission failure due to incorrect gear shifting, damages caused by continuing to use the vehicle despite a warning light being on, damages arising from hitting the underside of the vehicle, damages to parts such as tires and rims, damages arising from incorrect fuel, etc.). These mechanical and electrical damages and losses are outside the scope of insurance and coverages.
The winter tire option is offered as an add-on product and is a paid service. Winter tires vary by region and branch and are subject to stock availability. You must confirm stock with the branch from which you will rent.
For all groups, for your reservation to be finalized and for you to receive your vehicle, your financial analysis must comply with Champ Rent a Car’s rental criteria. Regardless of your Findeks score, an assessment may be made based on the total limits and debt information of your credit, credit cards, and overdraft accounts and similar products at all banks; whether your credit products are open/closed; and your past payment performance on credit products.
